Analyzing dynamic fragmentation of metallic shells is imperative for aerospace, nuclear and defense applications. The defense administration has to guarantee safety zones around warheads from ballistic studies and experiments. The fragment size distribution, one major input to the ballistic models, is modelled in present PhD. The main physical phenomena controlling bomb fragmentations are and analyzed.The study focuses on modeling a high explosive warhead fragmentation.
