The PhD work context deals with mechanical wave propagation in heterogeneous media including an embedded tunnel, more specifically in the karst environment of the Low Noise Underground Laboratory, Rustrel, Vaucluse, France. The main goal of this work concerns the development of a semi-analytical approach to study the dynamic response of the tunnel and its surroundings in both harmonic and transient regimes. The heterogeneous environment is described by a radial multilayered approach with various effective media in a two-dimensional geometry. The microcracks between two successive layers of the damaged zone are macroscopi cally described by an imperfect interface. The gallery is first assumed to be circular, allowing us to apply the wave fun...
