A new report indicating that more college freshmen than ever believe education is something to be endured rather than enjoyed comes as no surprise to Russell Quaglia, director of the National Center for Student Aspirations at the University of Maine. The recently released report from the Los Angeles-based Higher Education Research Institute is on target with the Aspirations Center\u27s surveys of Maine high school students who say that school is neither energizing nor challenging
