Students in the University of Maine\u27s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program have spent much of the past year working with classroom teachers in three area communities They brought new ideas and varied experiences to schools in Old Town, Brewer and Orono. They also offered a rare commodity in busy public schools -- the time and resources to do research and evaluations and to develop new programs and materials
