The postulates of Holland's theory indicate that each person tends to the congruent environment and that greater congruence of the employee's interests and working environment leads to better work outcomes. This study examined the relationship between the personenvironment congruence of Holland's and spherical model and burnout and job satisfaction among employees. The sample consisted of 436 citizens of the Republic of Serbia who work for salary irrespective of their formal status.
