Iako je postoperativna primena radioterapije i hemioterapije produžila preživljavanja pacijenata obolelih od glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), ona je uslovila i dijagnostičke teškoće u diferenciranju recidiva GBM tumora od terapijskih sekvela.
