Social Forestry is a national program for economic equality and reducing inequality through three pillars, namely land, business opportunities and human resources. This study aims to analyze the distribution of social forestry utilization in Bayat Subdistrict, Klaten Regency and analyze the level of activity of farming community groups in social forestry management in Bayat Subdistrict, Klaten Regency. The method in this study is a descriptive analysis method used in describing operational activities related to the process of social forestry management by farming community groups. Supported by data and information from observations and Participatory GIS mapping, the distribution of social forestry utilization areas is compiled in tabular form, then described and interpreted using qualitative descriptive analysis to describe land use patterns, types of plants, land potential and socio-economic conditions of the community around the social forestry area in the Bayat Subdistrict, Klaten Regency So that the results of the analysis in the form of the distribution of the use of social forestry in Bayat District show that there are 12 villages as social forestry managers and the average percentage of each technical aspect, institutional aspect, social aspect, and economic aspect is used to show the role of farmer groups can be said to be active in forest management. in the Bayat District. The distribution of the use of social forestry produces agricultural areas, plantation areas, livestock areas, fisheries areas and protected forest areas so that the existence of actively managed social forestry can train and develop the talents that exist within farming community groups and generate innovations to create aquaculture businesses capable of explore the benefits of social forestry
