Analisis Kelayakan Buku Ajar Geografi SMA Kelas XI Untuk Siswa

At this time, there are many geography books circulating from various publishers, both of which have names such as Tiga Serangkai and Gramedia. The textbooks in circulation are of course quality textbooks so that they are able to support the learning process well. However, the quality of textbooks differs from one another if it is based on the standard of assessment from the BSNP. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the feasibility of the content and the appropriateness of the language of geography textbooks for SMA Class XI based on BSNP standards. The books that will be tested in this research come from three publishers, namely Erlangga, Wangsa Jatra Lestari, and Mediatama. The method chosen in this research is library research. While the type of research chosen by the researcher is Content Analysis. The assessment on the three books was carried out by the researcher and a geography teacher who acted as an expert. The chapter analyzed in the book is the flora and fauna chapter. The results of this study indicate that of the three Geography books analyzed, the book published by Erlangga is a book with a very decent category based on linguistic analysis and content analysis with standards from the BSNP. Geography books published by Wangsa Jatra Lestari and Mediatama are included in the appropriate category
