International audienceThe link budget of a Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) handheld receiver is weak compared to fixed receivers because of its configurational disadvantages. In our proposition, the LTE network helps in resolving the DVB handheld outage by retransmitting the missing DVB sequences to the handheld receivers. Our model analyzes the load over the LTE access network due to the retransmission of the missing sequences of a DVB transmission.We assume a low-definition DVB TV service to be received by each of the handheld terminals.
