Standard procedures for evaluation and follow up involve screening for standard atherosclerotic risk factors, including hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, obesity, smoking history and family history without genetic testing, as well as cardiac imaging techniques, such as echocardiography, computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging.
