In the last years, the radar technology is largely used such as system in civilian application. The purpose of this article is the setting up of extended functions for an existing HF sensor. This sensor is developped by a french industrial and is used for remote toll payment applications. The first aim of the project is to developp around the toll payment function, more applications as loca- tion of the identification card, counting vehicles or identifying vehicles[1]. These applications are based on a communication between the HF sensor (i.e. the radar) and a card located inside a ve- hicle (cars, lorries, motorcycles).
