Complexation of vanadium(V) at 25°C in 2 M NaCI04/HCI04\u27 by desferrioxamine B chelator results in the formation of 1: 1 complex when concentration of HCI04 in the reaction mixture is higher than 0.1 M. The apparent equilibrium constant and the second order rate formation \u27constant in 0.5 M HCI04 are: Kapp = (6 ± 2) X 106 M-l, k = (2.3± 0.2)X 105 M-l S-l,respectively
