Razvijena je jednostavna i osetljiva metoda za određivanje aluminijuma u serumu elektrotermalnom atomskom apsorpcionom spektrofotometrijorn. U literaturi postoje kontradiktorni podaci o analitičkim uslovima zbog čega je u ovom radu izvršeno njihovo ispitivanje. Metoda se sastoji u jednostavnom razblaživanju uzorka sa 0,05% Triton X-100 i atomizaciji uzorka na zidu pirolitički presvučene kivete. Osetljivost metode je oko 1 µg/L, a preciznost < 11 %.
