Poznavanje mehaničkih i kemijskih svojstava akrilatnih materijala za mobilne proteze ima veliko praktično značenje u tehnologiji njihove izrade. Otpornost akrilatnih smola na mehanička opterećenja bitno se razlikuje ovisno o sastavu određenog materijala i tehnološkom postupku polimerizacije. Htjelo se istraživati kako različiti postupci polimerizacije utječu na mehaničko svojstvo čvrstoće na savijanje različitih toplopolimeriziranih akrilatnih smola, koje se upotrebljavaju za izradu baza mobilnih proteza. Ispitivanje je provedeno na aparaturi S.A.D.A.M.E.L. TYP MG-EMC. Uzorci za testiranje pripremljeni su na tri različita postupka polimerizacije: kratki, produženi i dugi postupak.
