Data curation is the active and ongoing management of research data through its lifecycle of interest and usefulness to scholarship, science, and education. The Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign has developed a new Data Curation Education Program, which is a concentration within its MSLIS.
