The wealth and value of Yugoslav folk traditions did not find am adequate use in the radio and TV programs and on the records, neither quantitatively nor in the choice of the performed pieces. Some second-rate genres get more room in programs at the same time as better achievements hardly, if at all, penetrate info the repertoire. The radio and TV as well as record producers did not sufficiently rely on the individuals and the institutions, which could more expertly aim their activities. Then, the propitious circumstance, that Yugoslav folk-lore develops in several different basic zones; that in these zones appear numerous varieties, is not put to profitable use.
