The research undertook the performance of waste management systems in Accra which was categorized into four zones; i.e. the high income level, the middle income level, the low income areas and the slum in order to analyze the systems effectively. This is because installations of waste systems differ from various dwellings due to many factors such as economic factors, affordability, infrastructural availability, etc. From both secondary and primary data, the study added to the body of knowledge in management of wastewater treatment which has been described as complex as it deals with the provisions of amenities towards continuous human satisfaction.
