Activity of Dr. František Hofman in Media and Medial Practice

The piece "Activity of Dr. František Hofman in Media and Medial Practice" is a biographic study of František Hofman. It disserts briefly on his personal life and thereafter concentrates on his career in media. This text offers a compact view of Hofman's life to the reader although some of its components map less and the others more. The core of the bachelor diploma project is Hofman's activity in the press department of the Presidium of Council of Ministers. In the piece, this period of his life is described more contextually in respect to historic chains of events than the other periods. The context includes especially basic facts on political development in the area of current Czech Republic between years 1939 and 1941 and the presentation of the situation then in the area of legal press. Františka Hofmana v médiích a mediální praxi" je životopisnou studií Františka Hofmana. Pojednává stručně o celém jeho životě osobním, detailněji se pak zaměřuje na jeho kariéru v médiích. Tento text nabízí čtenáři celistvý pohled na Hofmanův život, i když některé z jeho částí jsou zmapovány více a jiné méně. Jádrem této bakalářské diplomní práce je Hofmanovo působení v tiskovém odboru Předsednictva ministerské rady v období protektorátu Čechy a Morava. Toto období jeho života je v práci popsáno v kontextu širších dějinných souvislostí než jakými jsou doprovázeny ostatní etapy Hofmanova života. Tento kontext zahrnuje zejména základní údaje o politickém vývoji na území dnešní České republiky v letech v letech 1939 až 1941 a prezentaci tehdejší situace v oblasti legálního tisku. Na základě těchto údajů práce popisuje roli a postavení Františka Hofmana, přičemž objevuje některé osobní a jiné vztahy mezi ním, dalšími protektorátními úředníky a novináři.
