It was evaluated efficacy of a disinfectant composed by citric extracts against avian coccidiosis, in an in vitro test and a floor-pen trial with broilers. It were used 288 chickens of 1 d age distributed at ramdon in 6 groups (4 replicates each one). Chickens were medicated in drink water at the doses: disinfectant (25 %) = 2 to 4 mL/ 10 L (I, II , III) and amprolium (98 %)= 2 to 4g/10 L (IV). Parasite challenge was done individually to 10 d age (I,II,III,IV y V). Stadistical analisis were development for ANOVA and median comparison test (a = .01).
