This undergraduate thesis approaches consumerism in childhood under media influence over children of the present time. It aims to collaborate on educational practices that teach infants to critically read advertising texts broadcast by the media. It is a qualitative study in which have been used, as methodological procedures, the memorial, form of narrative in which the teacher´s life story contributes to their professional development, and the bibliographic research, synthetic and analytical survey of scientific publications associated with the study theme.
