Challenges through the ages: Reflections of the feminist movement on brazilian legislation and persistent difficulties in women's lives.

This paper aims to point out how the feminist movement has influenced an important change in the way the world treats and relates to women and how there is still a long way to go in the search for equality. This is an essential discussion, as the subject needs to be present in our daily lives, and needs to be understood and respected by all people. The methodology used was a bibliographical research, through which it was possible to bring to the study the history of the feminist movement and the struggle for the female vote around the world, and as such an achievement influenced several countries, including Brazil. Focusing on Brazil, it will be presented how feminism gradually influenced Brazilian legislation, with the creation of laws specifically aimed at the welfare and safety of women. Finally, the difficulties that women still face, despite all the achievements already achieved, will be treated with current examples.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)O presente trabalho tem por objetivo apontar como o movimento feminista influenciou uma importante mudança na forma de como o mundo trata e se relaciona com as mulheres e como ainda há um longo caminho a ser percorrido na busca por igualdade. Trata-se de uma discussão indispensável, pois o assunto precisa estar presente em nosso dia a dia, e precisa ser entendido e respeitado por todas as pessoas. A metodologia utilizada, foi a pesquisa bibliográfica, através da qual foi possível trazer ao estudo o histórico do movimento feminista e a luta pelo voto feminino ao redor do mundo, e como tal conquista influenciou vários países, inclusive o Brasil. Focando no Brasil, será apresentado como o feminismo pouco a pouco influenciou a legislação brasileira, com a criação de leis que visam especificamente o bem estar e segurança das mulheres. Por fim, será demonstrado com exemplos atuais as dificuldades que as mulheres ainda enfrentam, apesar de todas as conquistas já alcançadas
