The Role of Self Esteem On Narcissistic Behavior In Instagram User Student

Abstract This research is related to students using Instagram who expect positive likes and comments on their posts. to expect such shows there is a tendency to narcissistic habits. This study was made to determine whether there is a behavioral relationship between self-esteem and narcissistic tendencies in Instagram users. The method used is regression analysis . The sample of this research is 115 students of Bhayangkara University, Greater Jakarta. Data obtained through the scale of narcissistic behavior tendencies and self-esteem scale. The results of this study indicate that the regression analysis shows the effect of self-esteem with narcissistic behavior tendencies, meaning that the effect of self-esteem on narcissistic behavior tendencies is 40.2%, with a significance value of p = 0.021, p
