National audienceComputer science, human and social sciences and arts have often been considered as independent fields of investigations without much interaction. We strive to demonstrate that this common belief is erroneous and that it is possible to consider fruitful cross-fertilizations between these fields of investigations. We illustrate it by means of examples taken from the history of computer science and by means of contemporary research questions. Thereby, we suggest a list of non exhaustive research lines at the interface of computer science and these other fields of investigations.
