The purpose of this paper is to advance the view that Lifelong Learning should be revivified for the fulfilment of the development recovery programmes of countries post COVID 19 pandemic. The informed position that the paper presents is that COVID 19 pandemic that has devastated the global economy and brought about social, political and environmental challenges, requires lifelong learning if sustainable development is to be realised.
