BACK GROUND: Each stage of human life is very important and unique in nature as certain physical development takes place in its own way. Post-menopausal period brings a lot of changes in the body of women and most of that leads to troublesome symptoms like skeletal problems such as back pain, osteoporosis, joint and muscle pain. Symptoms of genitourinary instability are bleeding, urinary frequency, itching, and dryness and those of vasomotor instability are hot flushes including night sweats, and sleep disturbance. Psychological symptoms are memory loss, irritability, mood disturbance, fatigue and poor quality of life. It can cause changes in body images, attitude towards ageing and also leads to mood changes.
