1. In our study, the incidence of placenta previa contributed to 1.1% of the total deliveries. 2. In our study, the clinical presentation, risk factors, complications and outcome of 170 placenta previa cases were studied in detail. 3. In the present study the cases of placenta previa were highest in the maternal age group 25-29 years as 38% and least in the women in the age group less than 20 years as 3.5%. 4. In the present study incidence of placenta previa was highest in 60% the multiparous group. It was 30% in the primi group and 8.2% in grand multiparous group. 5.
