Yüksek Lisans TeziWittig reaksiyonu organik sentezlerde stereoseçici karbon-karbon çift bağı oluşturmanın en genel ve en çok kullanılan yöntemlerinden biridir.Wittig reaksiyonu ? -fosfor stabilize anyon ile karbonil bileşikleri arasında, seçici olarak karbon-karbon çift bağı oluşturur. Fosfonyum bileşikleri kolaylıkla hazırlanabilir. Reaksiyon sonunda alken verimi yüksektir; çift bağ istenilen yerde oluşturulabilir ve stereoseçicilik oldukça fazladır. Wittig reaksiyonunda kullanılan fosfonyum tuzları yerine alkil fosfonatlar ve fosfin oksit türevleri kullanılarak benzer yöntemlerle alken elde edilmiştir.
