I explored: 1) if primatologists are concerned about potential consequences of habituation; and 2) how primatologists perceive their duties toward subjects. I collected data from 286 participants via an online survey distributed through email and the International Primatological Society’s social media. Likert-scale responses for items focused on habituation concerns and duties were analyzed via exploratory factor analyses. Results indicated that respondents were concerned about the consequences of habituation, and their duty was related to what caused a harm.
