The article presents references to the work of the bard Adam Mickiewicz Zima miejska (City Winter) in Witold Hulewicz’s Zima wileńska (Winter in Vilnius). The text presents a less-known artist, Witold Hulewicz, who was the program director of the Polish Radio Wilno in Vilnius in 1927–1935. The role Vilnius played in the biographies of both artists should be recalled, considering the similarities and differences between their works. One should also consider the importance of the age of poets and the moment in both artists’ life when they were experiencing Vilnius and describing it.
