Les pathologies cardiovasculaires (CV) sont la cause principale de mortalité après transplantation rénale, rendant compte de 40 à 55% de tous les décès. La littérature sur le sujet dans la population générale, chez les dialysés et les insuffisants rénaux chroniques est vaste. Curieusement, l’étude des pathologies CV et de ses facteurs de risque a été plus limitée chez le transplanté rénal. Ce travail a donc pour but de mieux comprendre les interactions et inter-relations entre différents facteurs de risque cardiovasculaires classiques et moins classiques dans une population de transplantés rénaux.
