Utopie et SIC

If human communication difficulties can constitute the bedrock of a number of utopias, these utopias develop long before 1942. Moreover, the communicational utopia so minutely an analysed by P. Breton, is not a “utopia,” but a “myth.” Finally, contemporary utopia is not purely symbolic. Today, it is rooted – and this is both its strength and its weakness – in concrete practices, as shown by “economic solidarity” (l’économie solidaire). It is in fact on the bases of concrete experiences in public space that economic solidarity develops a new democratic project: Utopia is therefore a source of communication.
