This work is a reflective proposal on the Human Capital Theory and its relationship with education. This topic is also addressed from different perspectives, especially the economic one, and later the sociological one. The evolution of this theoretical perspective is briefly exposed to coincide with its interference with education. Some considerations of the case of Mexico were considered. The objective was to analyze how Human Capital Theory is invariably related to education and academic training.
