Mrożek i jego Tango w Brazylii

The article discusses Brazilian production of Sławomir Mrożek’s Tango staged in 1972 in Rio de Janeiro, as well as Polish-Brazilian connections and relationships observed among the artists working on this play. A separate part of the article presents Mrożek’s one-week stay in Rio de Janeiro and his contacts with the Brazilian press. The Polish author turned out to be a difficult interlocutor for Brazilian journalists.
