MOLDOVA KNOWLEDGE EXCELLENCE INITIATIVE

In the context of the recent developments of EUMD scientific and technologic cooperation, followed the official request of the Republic of Moldova to associate to the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Community was launched Moldova Knowledge Excellence Initiative, a short term action plan aimed at strengthening the role of research and innovation in the general process of the country’s development. The main measures of the plan are: development of the institutional framework for the Association, enhancing the international visibility of the organisations from the research-innovation fi eld of Moldova, dissemination on a national level of information on FP7 and other European programmes, fostering participation of organisations from the research innovation fi eld in FP7 with a special focus on SMEs, the final activity planned is the Association to FP7
