INTRODUCTION: Endometriosis is a benign and chronic gynecological disease characterized by the presence of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. The present study seeks to understand how the possible symptomatological manifestations of endometriosis may affect the quality of life of the affected woman and how living with the disease may become more tolerable to the patient.
