The results of this study provide data on the logistics, scope, routes, channels, seasons, and the economy of illegal wildlife trade in the country and across Vietnam. It investigates the main reasons for the continued illegal wildlife trade and highlights the key failures in Vietnam and other concerned countries undertaking efforts to prevent and control it. This study identifies the most important wildlife trade routes in, and through Vietnam.
