En este documento se describe el proceso de diseño de un prototipo de prótesis transradial con cinco grados de libertad, el cual consta de cinco servomotores lineales, dos sensores mioeléctricos y diseño de mano basado en la 2° parte de la Norma DIN 33 402. Esta prótesis de mano y antebrazo posee semejanza dimensional a una mano y brazo en condiciones normales, además, el movimiento de las falanges de los dedos cumple las proporciones y movilidad similar a los dedos de una mano humana. Para el control del dispositivo se emplea sensores mioeléctricos proporcionando un uso sencillo para el usuario.
