Monitoring the impact of the quarry on the surrounded vegetation using Landsat multispectral satellite images : master's thesis

U ovom diplomskom radu praćena je vrijednost NDVI vegetacijskog indeksa na području eksploatacijskog polja „Glavice“ koji se nalazi u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji, nedaleko od mjesta Opuzen. Opisani su softveri i način preuzimanja i obrade korištenih podataka. U QGIS softveru stvoren je virtualni raster za svaku godinu iz kojih su izrađeni spektralni profili kako bi se očitala vrijednost NDVI vegetacijskog indeksa. Pomoću dobivenih spektralnih profila, moglo se uočiti i opisati razlika u NDVI vrijednostima.In this Master's thesis, the value of the NDVI vegetation index was monitored in the area of the exploitation field "Glavice" which is located in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, near Opuzen. The software and the method of downloading and processing the used data are described. A virtual raster was created in the QGIS software for each year from which spectral profiles were made to observe the value of the NDVI vegetation index. Using the obtained spectral profiles, the difference in NDVI values could be observed and described
