This case study from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), reports on a simple, cyclical process to assess information literacy instruction in a hybrid distance education context. This article opens with background on the LEEP program at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS). A description of the library services provided to its students, emphasizing the instructional components, is followed by a discussion of data from student evaluations gathered over a four year period. The ways in which these data are shared and used to improve the information literacy component of LEEP orientation are outlined.
