The purpose of this study was to determine the best method of developing an equipment inventory system using data processing equipment for school District U-46, Elgin, Illinois. Methods and Procedures. A plan for recording necessary information concerning equipment was developed. After discussion with Mr. Robert F. Skelly, Assistant Superintendent for Business Affairs, District U-46, Elgin, Illinois, this plan was modified and inventory recording system was commenced.
