Includes bibliographical references.This study was designed to investigate the auditory comprehension ability of a Broca aphasic by utilization of standardized aphasia examinations. Included were the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (Dunn, 1959), the Minnesota Test for Differential Diagnosis of Aphasia (Schuell, 1965), the Boston Diagnostic Aphasia Test (Goodglass and Kaplan, 1972), the Porch Index of Communicative Ability (Porch, 1962), and the Token Test (DeRenzi and Vignolo, 1962). The tests and results were discussed in terms of the linguistic components: phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics.
