To determine the conditions which would increase protoplasting efficiency, lysozyme concentration, exposure time to lysozyme, temperature of protoplasting, pH of hypertonic buffer used for protoplasting, growth stage at which protoplasting occurs and shaking of the protoplasting suspension were varied.
