The transition to the 21st century, which promised all sort of changes, resulted in (progress among others) the emergence of plurality in property rights in French private law. The removal of the hypothesis, dear to AUBRY and RAU, according to which the same person can possess only one property, which made a lasting impact on this branch of law, is noteworthy.
