High speed forming processes such as magnetic pulse forming and electrohydraulic forming are currently developing at the industrial scale. Design of these processes requires numerical simulation to take into account the highly dynamic and multiphysics conditions. To ensure the representativeness of the simulations, there is an important need for relevant data describing the material dynamic behavior.In this study, mechanical tests based on magnetic pulse forming have been developed in order to characterize the dynamic strain hardening of materials in the form of tubes or sheets.
