Configurations socio-spatiales des nouvelles formes de production agricole et ses stratégies de commercialisation. Le cas de Nicaragua, Costa Rica et Panama.

Abstract: The research is framed in the field of studies of the socio-spatial reconfigurations produced by transformations in agrifood systems. In this case, agroecological and organic agriculture are presented as new modes of agricultural production that can participate both in the renewal of the food supply, agricultural practices, and the logic of distribution in certain spaces. In this context, our main concern is to understand how the organic agriculture sector is especially organized and inscribed in different study scenarios in Central America, based on the logics and processes defined by its system of actors. For this, the thesis is interested in the social and spatial forms resulting from the dynamics of the sector in three spaces located in Central America: Central Valley (Costa Rica), Metropolitan Region of Managua (Nicaragua) and Tierras Altas -Panama City (Panama). The result of organic agriculture is influenced by the diverse experiences and professional tensions of producers and merchants, by the various representations they have of this way of producing. The thesis shows that the actors are organized in networks, and that these are inherent to the territory, because they do not separate their projects and repertoires of action from the social, environmental, economic and cultural situation of their living spaces. The activation of specific (territorial) resources, built within alternative agricultural networks, guarantees, and participates in territorial action. Using this resource, we explain the socio-spatial peculiarities of the effect of networks in each country.Titre : Configurations socio-spatiales des nouvelles formes de production agricole et ses stratégies de commercialisation. Résumé : La recherche s'inscrit dans le champ des études liées aux reconfigurations socio spatiales produites par des transformations dans les systèmes agroalimentaires. Dans ce cas, l'agriculture agroécologique et biologique se présente comme nouveaux modes de production agricole qui peut participer à la fois à la rénovation de l'offre alimentaire, des pratiques agricoles et des logiques de la répartition dans des espaces déterminés. Dans ce contexte, notre préoccupation principale est de comprendre comment le secteur de l'agriculture biologique s'organise et s'inscrit spécialement dans différentes scènes d'étude d'Amérique Centrale, à partir des logiques et des processus définis par leur système d'acteurs. Pour cela, la thèse s'intéresse aux formes sociales et spatiales résultant de la dynamique du secteur dans trois espaces localisés en Amérique Centrale : Vallée Centrale (Costa Rica), Région Métropolitaine de Managua (Nicaragua) et Hautes Terres - Ville de Panama (Panama). Le résultat de l'agriculture biologique est influencé par les diverses expériences et par les tensions professionnelles des producteurs et commerçants La thèse montre que les acteurs sont organisés en réseaux et que ceux-ci sont consubstantiels au territoire, car ils ne séparent leurs projets et répertoires d'action de la situation sociale, environnementale, économique et culturelle de leurs espaces de vie. L'activation de ressources spécifiques (territoriales), construites à l'intérieur des réseaux d'agriculture alternative, est garante d'une action territorialisée et participe à celle-ci.
