The study utilized a Quantitative Research design. This design is used to quantify the perception of children with lower extremity impairments and their consenting family member on the role of Physical Therapy in improving the well-being of the children and to be able to to generalize results from the larger sample population. The population was decided with the use of inclusion criteria: respondents consists of 30 consenting family member of 30 children ages 8 to 21 years old, with any lower extremity impairment undergoing physical therapy interventions.
