The study utilized the quantitative method of research, which involved 270 postpartum mothers with age range of 15-40 years old selected using stratified random sampling technique. The research was conducted at DBB-E, Dasmarians, Cavite in one (1) month. The self-made questionnaire consisted of three (3) sections: general information, knowledge on breastfeeding and compliance in breastfeeding. The statistical treatments used for data analysis were relative frequency, mean, Chi-square and Pearson’s r.
