Job satisfaction and job performance of diagnostic and therapeutic radiologic technologists in selected hospitals in the National Capital Region

This study used the descriptive-survey approach. A total of 32 respondents were included in the study. They were selected using stratified random sampling. The researchers used two (2) questionnaires to gather data to determine the job satisfaction and job performance. Statistical treatments such as frequency, mean, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, percentage and T-test were used. Based on the findings, the following conclusions were drawn: (1) The level of job satisfaction of the respondents in the diagnostic area is highly satisfied. In the therapeutic area, the level of job satisfaction is interpreted as satisfied; (2) The level of job performance of the radiologic technologists in the diagnostic area is very competent. In the therapeutic area, the level of job satisfaction is also measured as very competent. (3) There is a relationship between the job satisfaction and job performance of the respondents in diagnostic area and therapeutic area when comparing t-stat and t-critical because the absolute value of t-stat is greater than t-critical. The Pearson correlation analysis shows that the degree of relationship between the job satisfaction and job performance in the therapeutic area is 30% while 60% in the diagnostic area thus, there is a relationship between the job satisfaction and job performance of the respondents in diagnostic area and therapeutic area
