Descriptive-correlation design was used to determine the relationship between level of hope and level of coping response of single parents in selected Barangays in Area DBB. A total of 150 respondents were selected using purposive non-quota sampling. A questionnaire type of survey was adapted from the instrument used in the study of Dr. Herth to obtain the information on the level of hope of single parent. Statistical measures used were mean, standard deviation, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), independen T-test and Pearson’s r or Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient.
