This is descriptive comparative type of study. Respondents were 10 day shift nurses, 10 night shift nurses and 16 graveyard shift nurses working in the medical ward selected through setting of inclusion and exclusion criteria. The respondents were given a self-made questionnaire and modified ergonomics checklist from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, which was validated prior to the implementation. Data was analysed using mean and standard deviation. The results showed that graveyard shift nurses had low average on the psychosocial occupational-related factors and work organization factors that posed higher risk of having low back pain.
